Five Star Aquatics Return Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We'll
also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an
incorrect item). On voluntary or customer error returns customers are responsible for
the return shipping cost AND or outbound shipping costs and fees.
If an order received free shipping at checkout, and the return takes the total under the
free shipping level, original actual shipping cost will be charged to the order and
subtracted from the return. Any shipping charges paid on an invoice are non-
refundable.
You should expect to have your refund processed within one week of Five Star Aquatics receiving your return package. (Typically only 2-3 days) Funds are normally transferred back to your account in 1-10 business days depending on your bank's policies.
If you use our automated return system you will be provided a prepaid label. You are responsible for the cost of this label and that cost will be deducted from the return. The return label cost is calculated from the total weight and dimension of your original order - not the item(s) you are returning. This label is active for a time period of 3 weeks after requested. The label will be void after 3 weeks. If after 3 weeks, you wish to complete your return request you will have to provide shipping.

Please have your Invoice number on the outside of the box, or include the Return
Authorization slip inside the box. Please use an outer shipping box to protect the
products packaging/box. Please use proper void fill.
Any damage incurred during return shipping is your responsibility.
If damage occurs in shipping and Five Star Aquatics personnel can repair the damage, that amount will not be refunded. (repairs)
If Five Star Aquatics personnel can not repair the damage no credit will be issued.
When sending a return shipment to Five Star Aquatics Use a shipping
service with insurance and tracking.
If your original order included free shipping and the amount of your return takes the total under the free shipping limits, original shipping charges will be subtracted from your return. You are responsible for the return shipping charges. We will inspect all contents upon arrival for damage and product use. In most cases we will not charge restocking fees.
Five Star Aquatics may charge restocking fees to cover damage or if repair is needed to the item.

Five Star Aquatics can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are
restrictions on some products, and certain products cannot be shipped to
some international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you
based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose.
Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may
appear on the shipping quotes page.
-Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based.
To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be
rounded up to the next full pound.
Shipping days are considered weekdays and do not include weekends.
As shipping improves carriers are delivering and moving packages on the weekends
- delivery guarantees are subject to carrier approval.
Five Star Aquatics reserves the right to update shipping methods at any time when
processing an order.
PO BOXES can only be used when choosing a USPS shipping option.
International
Five Star Aquatics is happy to offer its products worldwide. international Shipments are made with USPS the majority of the time but we hold the right to ship with any service available.
CANADA- Five Star has negotiated rates with UPS and total shipping prices may be lower than USPS with higher quality service. UPS will charge a brokerage fee of around $10 USD. The buyer is responsible for any brokerage and duty/taxes owed at time of delivery.
Items are marked as a gift and valued at a less than retail cost. Buyer assumes all
responsibility to local and or national customs duty fees, taxes and VAT. Five Star industries is not responsible for packages that may beheld in customs, nor responsible for any taxes, duties, fees or local regulations.
Five Star Aquatics will provide a tracking number once the item is shipped. After your shipment leaves the United States of America, We are not responsible for delivery times.
Five Star Aquatics is not responsible for lost items from the buyers local postal service. Please contact your local post office for help with international shipments taking longer than normal.
Five Star Aquatics is not responsible for product we do not produce. We resell products and the manufacture of that product holds responsibility. Be aware that electrical voltages vary by region, Five Star Aquatics Holds no responsibility for any product with an electrical plug and will not replace product used on 220 voltage using an adapter.
Buyer is responsible and holds risk for incorrectly using all products.
If you have not received your item in a timely matter after shipment has been made
please check with your local post office. Packages are sometimes held for pickup if first
attempt of delivery can not be made. Five Star Aquatics and the USPS can only offer a tracking number. When the package arrives at the customer local postal system the above parties are no longer in control. Five Star Aquatics has an excellent record of international delivery. If an item arrives broken, customer and Five Star Aquatics will work towards a conclusion depending on package condition. Five Star Aquatics is not responsible for broken items by USPS, UPS or the customer's local postal service.
